Since 2007 McKinsey & Company has been advising companies that increasing the number of women at executive levels from zero to 30% will increase profits by 15% (on average), and yet half the Fortune 1000 companies still have practically no women on their executive teams.
Insight:
If shareholders demand change, companies will change.
Idea:
Develop a new financial index of companies that meet gender equality targets.
